A collaboration with the VW Electronics Research Laboratory in Palo Alto, CA and iPressl:

Challenge:

Program software for an OLPC laptop, which can communicate and make use of some of the hardware in the car (GPS,...).

The new software can also be on the entertainment side (connect with the entertainment system in the back of the car).

When the laptop is disconnected it is possible to upload data prior to driving or download data after this new driving experience - thereby "taking the car into your home".
